Recently, SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank attended the Argo High School Career Fair at the school. The Armed Forces, Police and Fire, trade school, union and non-union employers were on hand.
Bridgeview Chamber Food/Toy Drive 2021

In total, more than 2000 pounds of food, and 100's of toys were donated this year!
Mold Lunch & Learn at a Realtor's office
Recently, SERVPRO Marketing Rep Rick Gauger held a Lunch & Learn at a local real estate office. The subject matter was: Mold. How to identify it, how to find it, and once you found it, what to do with it.
The group of newly-graduated real estate agents had lots of interesting questions.

Argo Homecoming parade 2021
On a beautiful Saturday morning, Argo High School held their annual homecoming parade, and SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank was there! In fact, we were honored to be a judge, as each class had an entry in the parade. What you see here is the sophomore entry.

Once again, SPBP supports the Bridgeview Chamber
In near perfect weather, the Bridgeview Chamber hosted it's annual Chamber golf outing. There was a record number of golfers, and a record amount of raffle prizes donated.
SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank sponsored a hole, and Marketing Rep Rick Gauger (who is a Vice President at the Chamber) worked the closest to the pin hole, raising even more money to benefit the Chamber.

Another ribbon cutting attended by SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank
Another local business held a ribbon cutting recently, and SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank was there. Pictured are Bridgeview Trustees and byrider management cutting the ribbon at their Grand Reopening in February.
BPCIA Lunch & Learn
In Janurary, SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank CSR Rick Gauger attended the Bedford Park Clearing Industrial Association's Lunch & Learn. The topic was Cyber Security for businesses.
It highlighted ways businesses can be exposed to data breaches, and also ways to help prevent it.
Grand Opening celebration
In mid January, 2020, SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank attended the Devon Bank Grand Opening celebration at Al Bawadi Grill in Bridgeview. This well attended event welcomed another new business to our area, and we were glad to be a part of it!

Bridgeview Chamber Golf Outing 2019
The weather didn't cooperate in the morning, but many people stuck around for the dinner and raffle prize drawings. Proceeds from the golf and drawings will go to the Scholarship Fund.
This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Chamber, and thanks to everyone who makes this event better every year! SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank is proud to be a member of such an organization that gives back to the community!
Hampton Inn - Bridgeview Ribbon Cutting
Recently, another hotel opened in our area, the Hampton Inn in Bridgeview. It is located in the shadow of Seat Geek Stadium (in the same parking lot).
Dignitaries from Bridgeview (mayor, trustees, etc) as well as from First Hospitality Group (the parent company of Hampton Inns) cut the ribbon.

Bridgeview Chamber awards 2019 Scholarships
Recently, the Bridgeview Chamber awarded five students checks towards college scholarships. This is the 44th year the Chamber has performed this task.

Supporting local Chambers at Small Business Clinic
In May, 2019, Rick Gauger attended the Small Business Clinic. It was hosted by: the Bedford Park/Clearing Industrial Association (of which he is a member), the Bridgeview Chamber (where he is a Vice President), and the Oak Lawn Chamber.
There were approximately 75 local exhibitors, as well as three workshops, all to aid the small business owners throughout the area.
SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank hosts Ethics CE class
In April, SERVPRO of Bedford Park/Burbank sponsored an Ethics CE class for insurance agents at the Bedford Park Public Library. This class helps insurance agents garner credits towards their license renewal.
Even though this year's class was small, the conversations were lively and ideas and experiences were shared.
SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank attends SeatGeek Stadium ribbon cutting
In March, 2019, SERVPRO of Bedford Park/Burbank was pleased to attend the ribbon cutting at the newly renamed SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview.
After short speeches from Mayor Landek, representatives from SeatGeek Stadium, the coaches from both the Chicago Fire and Chicago Red Stars soccer teams, the ribbon was cut, ushering in a new era in local professional sports.

In January, 2019, SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank was on hand to watch the ribbon cutting for one of Burbank's newest businesses, May's Lounge.

Ribbon cutting at Luther Burbank School
In August, 2018, SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank attended the ribbon cutting for the new Luther Burbank School. After the speeches and ribbon cutting, tours were given throughout this state-of-the-art school to the hundreds gathered.
A couple of days later (but before school started), SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank was able to complete an Emergency Disaster Profile for the new school, which puts in place the procedures and protocols IF a disaster were to strike. All schools in Burbank, as well as the Administration Building, have completed the ERP.
Bedford Park/Clearing Lunch & Learn
Recently, the Bedford Park Clearing Association held a Lunch & Learn at the public library. This month's speaker was Dan Godfrey, the soon-to-be-retired Police Chief of Bedford Park. Topics included: Concealed Carry, Medical Marijuana, transportation through the community, and the upcoming elections. As usual, SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank was there to support the community.
Police vs Fire Department Basketball fundraiser
Recently, a charity basketball fundraiser was held, pitting the Bridgeview Police Department against the Bridgeview Fire Department. Proceeds went to the Bridgeview Chamber, which our very own Rick Gauger is a Director.
The local Boy Scouts presented the colors while the National Anthem was sung. Wilkens Jr High Pom Pom and Dance teams performed at halftime, and a local contractor provided lunch for all attendees.
In this inaugural game, the Police prevailed 38-36.
SERVPRO presents at BSD Career Day
SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank was fortunate to be asked to present at the 2018 Burbank SD #111 Career Day at Liberty Jr HS. Six classes of 25 students each listened as Rick Gauger, Marketing Rep for SERVPRO, explained the services we provide, and even showed some examples.

SERVPRO Bedford Park Presents at ASNOA Conference
In May, 2017, SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank had the pleasure to support the ASNOA (Agent Support Network of America) Trade Show. Not only did we have a booth to answer questions, but we also gave a 30 minute infomercial on mold, and how we can "Make it like it never even happened".
2017 ARGO HEF Fundraiser
Recently, SERVPRO Bedford Park / Burbank participated in the ARGO Higher Education Foundation Casino Night at Toyota Park. Money raised from this fundraiser went towards four-year scholarships the Argo HEF gives out each year.
SERVPRO Bedford Park / Burbank supports many community events throughout the year, helping build a strong community through action.
