Numerous cats abandoned at a house in Chicago, IL

We received a call from a customer after her relative moved in with her because she was unable to live alone due to her health issues. Unfortunately, our customer’s relative passed away and the family decided to sell the property, however, they soon discovered that the clean-out process was going to require a professional. Upon arrival at the home we were advised to wear masks to deal with the overwhelming odor that was the result of numerous cats left unattended for months, as you can imagine the home not only smelled of cat urine/feces, but the walls, floors, cabinets, furniture and contents were also extremely affected.

After providing the customer with a cleaning estimate, she authorized SERVPRO of Bedford Park/Burbank to start the cleaning process immediately. Our crews moved from room to room, filling dumpster after dumpster until finally SERVPRO of Bedford Park/Burbank made it look “Like it never even happened.”
