Broken pipe causes extensive water damage to a home in Chicago, IL

When this happened, the homeowner was out of the country, thankfully the neighbors had access to the house and as soon as they noticed the damage they contacted the homeowner, then the neighbors were instructed to call a plumber to find out and fix the broken pipe but at the same time they also contacted us.

When we got to the loss site, the plumber was in the process of fixing the broken pipe, in the meantime we did our inspection, and noticed water damage initiated in the first floor all the way down to the finished basement, we then, contacted the homeowner, who provided us with the claim number and insurance information.  She was very happy that SERVPRO of Bedford Park took care of the mitigation work while she was away, and when she came back to town, she asked us to do the reconstruction work.
